L.O.L. No. 4
The 12th of July Celebrations are widely recognised as the biggest Folk Festival in Europe. Every year it brings its own unique sights, sounds and colour, upholding a cultural tradition centuries old. Being an Orangeman is much more than what you see on the 12th of July.
Becoming an Orangeman has many benefits apart from the immense sense of pride you have when on parade in front of family, friends and the wider public. Involvement with lodge life may benefit you and can help develop transferable life skills including:
Tandragee L.O.L. 4 is a vibrant and progressive District of almost 700 members. It boasts 21 Orange Lodges within the district who throughout the year hold many and varied events, including: concerts, plays, quizzes, drumming nights and charity fundraisers to name but a few.
Uniquely we are the only District who before travelling to the main county parade on 12th July morning, preform the “Forming of The Ring” ceremony. This is a long held tradition whereby the lodge banners are formed into a circle at the top of the town, wreaths are laid at the War Memorial and and the roll call takes place.
